The future skeptic (ChatGPT)

The future skeptic may need to be less:

"I know this is false because I know the tricks."

and more:

"I don't know whether this is true yet, and I am comfortable not knowing."

That last part is huge.

Because the misinformation ecosystem's greatest weapon isn't necessarily making you believe false things.

It's making you feel that you must have an opinion immediately.

And AI is going to make that worse because it can produce an apparently authoritative answer to almost any question in seconds.
