People are afraid to become imperceptible; they're afraid to go off the map and be where the light doesn't shine, and be where they can't be seen, can't be read, can't be heard. But it seems to me, given the example, for instance, of Dickinson, that it is worth it to not be seen, not be heard now, if you're getting to do exactly what you believe you have to do.
